Fry bakes and peach preservatives makes a good Monday night GREAT!!
I’m Still Here!! Happy Belated New Year…..
I’ve had ALOT going on and none of it giving me a chance to blog or even crochet !!!
I have spent a few minutes this week viewing blogs however and as usual I found some wonderful patterns that I hope I have a chance to try in this year…. I need to re-organise my creative space and get my focus back, summer is coming and I would love to have a few summer pieces to flaunt !! Yes I said flaunt ….. ☺
I spent a fair amount of time just looking at random items on Ravelry ( You must sign up for a free membership to view patterns on this site.)
One of the items I want to try is a skirt, I haven’t done any items of clothing, its about time …. this Skirt pattern is listed in the Stitch ‘N Bitch Crochet book, I have always just skipped right by it but it might be time to get on it.
I need to provide a list of Blogs that I have visited …. I usually find such beautiful patterns and numerous links to other blogs when I throw myself into the crochet world. Stay tuned I will get my little act together and hopefully provide updates before the next moon !! As if I know when that would be……. toddles!

Grey Floral Cloche
Another great hat! and it looks cute with any hair cut. (that’s a huge factor for me as I have short hair that will soon be even shorter!!!!)
Its another great project that works up very quickly! The actual pattern is in great colors that I would love to try and is worked with 2 strands of Red Heart Sport Weight yarn held together but in this case I used one strand of Worsted Weight yarn, from Red Heart in Heather Grey and I love it …. I worked the flower in a pink from Impeccable I think that ran during October in honor of Breast Cancer Month and I can’t wait to wear this piece…….
The pattern can be found here!
Enjoy and thanks for stopping by !!
Crochet Butterfly Beanie
This is a crochet Butterfly Beanie that I found on Vallieskids blog one day on one of my domino blog hunts! I call it a domino because some days I enter a search for a particular item that I might want to find and then its like a great domino effect, its site after site after site! Blogs are a great place to find some original pattern gems! Maybe one day I will try writing a pattern of my own but I don’t think I am at that point yet, for now I am having a great time discovering other masterpieces and trying them.
Because I am into quick gratification when it comes to crochet I love this pattern…. its super quick, I don’t even think it took me two hours to make one… These are the types of projects that will hold me over while I work on a couple afghans I would like to make for Christmas! I see all these beautiful afghans but they feel like torture because it takes so long to enjoy the end result !
Thanks for stopping by!

Big Girl Bonnet Revisited….
I redid this hat much looser (I tend to crochet tight and with this hat I really focused on being loose) with another acrylic yarn that feels more puffy….. And the result is a nice puff in brighter colors! No grey, black and brown Christmas for me!!!
Again, this was a really quick hat to make even though it looks very detailed.
I used Loops and Threads -Impeccable worsted yarn.

Taffy Pull Scarf
It took me a few days and some serious decisions about the colors but I finally finished this wonderful scarf! I feel like this scarf can rival the ones I see in stores for this season and the best part is that the colors are so unique I’m pretty sure no one else will have this scarf …… and I have to say I really LOVE it ! (ends to be evenly cut too)
I plan to make a few more scarves in this pattern but in different colors for Christmas presents !
Sorry about the chair display but I don’t have a model and I am not ready to star online yet
This pattern came from Coats and Clark # SN0104
